Purposeful partnerships
To us, being a good neighbour means responding to the needs of local organisations and to the interests of our employees.
In typical Grass Roots style, we focus on working in partnership with private and public bodies, leveraging our financial and
human resources to add value to what they're doing.
In the sporting arena, we are very happy to support the local clubs that play such an important part in the lives of our
employees and their families. We have also thrown ourselves wholeheartedly into the role of the benefactor of our local
community theatre after acquiring it, along with our offices, in 1984.
We get a lot from our local community great talent
for a start. So it's only natural that we want to give a
great deal back.
We have a long-standing tradition of contributing to our community's sporting, cultural, social and
educational life. It gives us enormous satisfaction to see what a difference our skills, money and time
can make to the areas we operate in. And we know our employees appreciate what we do. In their
submissions to the Sunday Times `100 Best Companies' survey they gave us the highest ranking for
`Giving something back to the community'.

Grass Roots' contribution to the development and implementation of the 3Es framework
in local schools shows its commitment to working with education in a constructive and
mutually beneficial manner. The clear guidance the company has provided for schools,
regarding the skills and attitudes that employers look for, has helped to inspire teachers
and pupils alike.
